Cpl. Brian Pinksen was wounded by a roadside bomb during a routine patrol southwest of Kandahar on Aug. 22. He died at a hospital in Germany on Monday. Pinksen, a member of 2nd Battalion with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, was based in Corner Brook, NL His body will travel along the Highway of Heroes to the coroner's office in Toronto. If it stays on there could be any number of different problems. There's a couple of different types of light. The first one would be a Solid Light... if the light just stays on constantly = in most cases, not usually harmful, but if you do experience poor ride quality or performance, book yourself in with a qualified service technician to diagnose the problem. They have a computer that can hook up and see what the code is, to determine if it's an issue that is serious or not. The second type of light is a Blinking Light = more serious issue, could be a cylinder misfiring or something else - pull over and call Road Side Assistance. Don't continue to drive it and risk further damage to your car. For Solid Light Check Engine Light on more modern fuel injected vehicles = make sure that your Gas Cap is properly seated.
